Kite Surfing Conditions
Excellent wind conditions that prevail in Kalpitiya in Sri Lanka from May to October, make Sethawadiya spot a kite surfers haven. Added to the benevolence of the wind gods, is the smooth aquamarine surface of the lagoon that makes this one of the ideal locations in the island for a kite school.
At Srilankakite, students have the opportunity to learn from a pro kiter and all lessons are structured and taught with radio helmets and rescue boats for safety and for more personal training. The equipment used is from Northsail, one of the top global brands and Srilankakite will also accommodate rentals of the latest models of kite boards, harnesses and other kite surfing products. We plan to introduce an exciting clothing line also in the future.
Since safety and first aid are areas of utmost importance to us, we ensure that our trainers are fully qualified in first aid and emergency procedures.
